Paul was a great sport and often clapped when the other team scored. He also managed to score for every game, I think, scoring 5 or more several times. He was very focused and knew which direction to kick the ball. He wasn't the biggest kid out there ever, but he was usually in the front of the pack, driving the ball or trying to get it from the other team. He had a lot of visitors come to cheer him on, including all of his grandparents and all of my family, even Haley and Caleb's puppy Abe came.
The following pictures are from their first practice! Haley got some great ones of one of his games, those will get their own post in the near future!
Paul chatting with Uncle Jeremy during a water break.
Malena and Pop Pop came!
Paul's cheering section one lovely Saturday morning.
Sweet cousins!
Dad and Paul before the first game! (The bandage on Michael's nose is for a basal cell carcinoma that had to be removed. In case you were wondering!)
Me and my soccer star!
In action!
Pouting. We occasionally had to remind him that it's ok that the other team has the ball sometimes too. He was usually ok with that but every once in a while got upset.
