One nice Saturday morning in April we went downtown to the market and then to the Fire Museum of Memphis. It is a pretty small museum, but that was fine with us! They had a really nice area where you could sit in the driver's seat of several firetrucks and even an ambulance. The ambulance had a kind of simulation thing going on -- lights, loud noises -- so Paul wouldn't get close to it. He only wanted to play in the older firetruck model. They also had little jackets and hats so Paul got to dress the part. We pass a fire station at least twice a day just taking Dad to school, and Paul gets excited every time. He always has an ear out for the siren and will tell you when he hears one, which I admit is kind of helpful.
