Second Anniversary

In some ways it's hard to believe Michael and I have only been married two years, in others, crazy to think it's only been two years.  These past two years have flown by, but we have managed to create a wonderful life for ourselves already.  I guess we shot out of the gate on that one!  In our two years we have moved to Memphis, adopted our sweet girls, gotten through half of optometry school, made wonderful new friends, and, not least of all, had Paul!  Knowing what these past two years have brought, I am excited for our future and know there are many wonderful things to come.

This year, we were lucky to have our friends Krystal and Michael and their son Brock come over to watch Paul for us so we could go to dinner.  We are so grateful that they were able to do that for us!  And also grateful that Paul had so much fun with them he didn't miss us at all.  :)

Michael took us downtown to a fancy pizza place on Main Street.  The weather was really nice so we sat outside and watched people and trolleys go by.  We don't get many opportunities to spend time together without Paul, so it was a nice treat to be able to relax together and just enjoy ourselves.  We walked down Main Street a little and picked out more places we'd like to try before we leave Memphis!  

Michael got to come home early so we spent some time watching Curious George together.
