Thanksgiving Day

I am way behind on posting so forgive me if these next few aren't very detailed!

Thanksgiving morning, Carolyn, Austin and Felicity came over early to eat J's coffee cake and watch the parade on TV.  Paul had his first gingerbread man, which he gobbled up quickly, surprisingly not wasting a bite.  Paul kept hug-tackling Felicity, but she didn't seem to mind.

Showing Uncle Austin that Chester was outside in the backyard.

This was taken right as Michael said he saw Elmo in the parade.  Both Paul and FJ are big Elmo fans.
Paul's first gingerbread man from J's.  A childhood favorite of mine!
Felicity was double-fisting her cookies.

After telling Paul to give Felicity a hug.

Paul and Felicity were hiding behind the curtain, in case you didn't notice.
Found 'em!
A new game was created -- racing down the hallway!  They did this forever, back and forth, generally waiting for the "go!"
Sometimes they hugged while they waited.
Felicity won most of the time.
Michael was the real winner because he got hugs from both of them every time -- he was the finish line.

For Thanksgiving dinner, we went to my Aunt Joyce's house.  We had a wonderful time!  The food was so good!  She made several new recipes which we all enjoyed.  Paul, however, was worn out from all the running, and didn't last long.  I made him a plate and he was doing OK eating until he tried the stuffing.  It tasted good to me and everyone else, but not to Paul!  He made a face and started sputtering and even after drinking water, he wouldn't really eat anything else.  He never does that!  I have no idea why he disliked it so much.  He ended up falling asleep soon after, even with everyone around.

That afternoon, we saw the Ward crew again for a little while.

Felicity really wanted Paul to get a good look at her tongue.

Paul and Chester

The day after Thanksgiving we went back to my aunt's house for delicious leftovers!  I got a few cute pictures of Paul with his great-aunt Jean.
