Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve finally rolled around!  We spent some time with my mom in the morning before a midday nap.  Once Paul woke up, it was time to get ready for the night!  Christmas Eve mass was beautiful.  I always love being back in the church we were married in, and it never looks more beautiful than it does for the Christmas season.  Paul said "amen" often, and tried to sing along to everything.  At the end of mass, he even genuflected (knelt down).  He continues to surprise me with his observation skills!  Afterward, we went straight to my Aunt Joyce's house for their traditional Christmas Eve meal -- oyster file gumbo!  We had such a wonderful night with everyone.  Paul loved opening his presents and even helped me out with mine.
